Biomedical Hardware Engineer

We're looking for a hands-on hardware engineer who can take a biomedical device from sketch to working prototype. You'll select sensors, design circuits and enclosures, and obsess over cost, reliability, and real-world usability.
This is a builder's role at an early-stage company — your decisions will shape how our devices are made and maintained in the field.
What you'll do
- Design and bench-test sensor-based biomedical hardware
- Select components balancing performance, cost, and availability
- Build functional prototypes for usability and clinical testing
- Design for manufacturability, maintenance, and field repair
- Collaborate with firmware, ML, and design-research teammates
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in electronics / hardware engineering
- Experience with sensors, PCB design, and rapid prototyping
- Familiarity with biomedical signals (ECG, EMG, IMU) a plus
- A frugal-innovation mindset: practical, affordable, robust
